This site provides on-line discussion forums so that members of the I2U2 community can collaborate and discuss various topics.

It helps personalize the discussion if you upload a forum picture (a "headshot"), which is shown along with your name next to each of your postings.
HTML is not allowed in forum codes, but you can use a similar set of markup codes called "BBcode", which is summarized at http://www13.i2u2.org/bbcode.php
Remember that it's harder for people to detect irony or other subtlties in this format, so please try to write clearly.

Links to the Library (which is a wiki) are easily made in the Forums using double square brackets, just as in a wiki. So for example, saying

[[Bluestone]]

in the forums creates a link to the article on Bluestone in the wiki.

Interwiki linking also lets you create links to other sites. Preface the term with "w:" to link to Wikipedia. So for example, saying

[[w:QuarkNet]]

in the forums creates a link to the article on QuarkNet in Wikipedia.

You can also link to a bug in our Bugzilla database by this mechanims. Saying

[[bz:280]]

creates a link to Bug 280
